Inspired by the African culture, especially the handmade weaponry and the shields. The combination of colors and the artful yet natural geometric shapes. My feeling about the existing chairs that come the last years in the global market is that they tend to get shorter. There is a design hype going back to 50s yet the meaning of a dinning chair from the 90s with taller back tends to vanish. Analyzed the current models that Porada has and realized the creativity of the forms, the difficulty of production and the quality of the wood & fabric finish. Upon the trend of the custom made upholstery of various brands, tried to include that that gives endless possibilities of choices in combination with premium wood elements. My main purpose is to focus on the dinning experience, beside the premium kitchen, the feeling is accomplished by the furniture. Sitting comfortable, feeling like a king/queen is the goal.
