Carpet Design Competition by CarpetVista
Chiotis: Inspired by the patterns that exist in the great village Pirgi of Chios. In my design all shapes are hand drawn. Chose colour of lava gray and rain gray to keep the total balance in a easy peaceful tone, adaptive to any space.
Myco: Inspired by the ancient Greek rock patterns that was found in Knossos, the kingdom of Myconean civilization. Large modern style pixels in vivid young orange combined with lake blue and turquoise, give great tension to this carpet.
Boxed: Inspired by the illusions of squared surfaces that viewer can see as up or down. Sunshine orange combined with crystal green and early night blue. Calm yet tricky this carpet is a flat illusion you can step on.
